Andy L. Hong, M.D.

Assistant Professor, Emory University

Dr. Hong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and is a board certified pediatric oncologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Prior to joining Emory, he was on faculty at Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center as an instructor of pediatrics. He received his medical degree from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and completed his pediatrics internship and residency at Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Dr. Hong's research focuses on high risk solid tumors (e.g. kidney cancers, soft tissue sarcomas and brain tumors) The cancers represent the areas of greatest need in Pediatric Oncology.
