Why Giving Now Matters: Accelerating Treatments for Rare Cancers Today

The end of the calendar year does not mean the end of rare cancers… but donations at end-of-year accelerate research and give patients hope!
Support RCRF’s work to drive research forward by considering these end-of-year donation options:

Tax Smart Giving (for potential deductions):

  • Appreciated Stocks/Securities: Donate stocks or mutual funds held over a year to avoid capital gains tax and get a fair market value deduction.

  • Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs): Contribute assets to a DAF now for an immediate deduction, then recommend grants to charities over time.

  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs): If over 70.5, transfer up to $105,000 from your IRA directly to charity to satisfy RMDs and skip taxes.

Direct Giving

  • Cash/Checks/Online Gifts: Standard, immediate impact donations; we accept one-time or recurring gifts.

  • Recurring Gifts: Set up monthly donations for a steady revenue stream for nonprofits.

  • Gifts in Honor/Memory: Donate in someone's name instead of a traditional gift.

  • Planned Giving: Include bequests in your will for long-term legacy.

Please visit our ‘Donate’ tab in the top right corner to provide hope all year long!
