Cancer Research Advocate Volunteer

Tracy Ikola, RN, MSN, CNL, is a former trauma emergency nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience. She now works as a health content writer. With a background in EMS, emergency nursing, and clinical leadership, she brings a deep understanding of the gaps patients face, especially those with rare cancers.

Tracy volunteers with the Rare Cancer Research Foundation to support forward-thinking research and help bring greater visibility to diagnoses that often go unnoticed. She’s passionate about using the power of words to drive awareness, connection, and progress in areas where it’s needed most. Through her writing and advocacy, she hopes to help bring promising therapies one step closer to the patients who need them.
